Dated against the November 2 – 20, 2026 cohort. The shop is closed Fridays, so a Friday inside a course week is a rest day rather than a teaching day.
Phase 1 · Skills Consolidation
Day 1 — Baseline Assessment & Technique Audit
Monday, November 2- • Graded baseline panel — where your technique actually stands
- • Programme plan built around the gaps that assessment finds
- • Film handling, contamination control and blade discipline reset
- • Heat, stretch and relax revisited on a compound panel
Day 2 — Compound Curves at Working Speed
Tuesday, November 3- • Mirror caps, spoilers and emblems to a finish standard
- • Forming without over-stretching: reading the film as it relaxes
- • Working clean in tight recesses and around fasteners
- • Timed repetition — the same panel until it is consistent
Day 3 — Bumpers, Sensors and Recesses
Wednesday, November 4- • Modern bumper strategy: radar, cameras, washers and active grilles
- • Relief cuts that survive a car wash, and edges that do not lift
- • Removing and refitting trim, and when it is worth doing
- • Hands-on: full front bumper, unguided
Day 4 — Hood, Fenders and Multi-Panel Alignment
Thursday, November 5- • Single-piece vs. multi-piece hoods on large and awkward panels
- • Fender-to-hood-to-bumper alignment across body lines
- • Seam placement that reads as no seam at all
- • Hands-on: full front-end package to a spec sheet
Phase 2 · Full-Body Coverage
Day 5 — Planning a Full-Body Wrap
Saturday, November 7- • Reading a whole vehicle before a single piece of film is cut
- • Pattern strategy: what is plotted, what is bulk, what is hand-cut
- • Sequencing panels so wet film is never fighting a deadline
- • Film budgeting and offcut management across a full car
Day 6 — Full Body I — Front Clip
Sunday, November 8- • Bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors as one continuous job
- • Holding alignment across three panels that meet at one line
- • Managing tack time and solution across a long install
- • Inspection under controlled light before moving back
Day 7 — Full Body II — Doors and Quarters
Monday, November 9- • Door skins, handles, cups and mirror mounts
- • Rear quarters: the hardest curve on most modern bodies
- • Rocker panels and the debris zones nobody photographs
- • Keeping panel-to-panel tension even down the length of the car
Day 8 — Full Body III — Roof, Trunk and Finish
Tuesday, November 10- • Roof, pillars and glass surrounds
- • Trunk lid, rear bumper and diffuser detail
- • Final tack-down, edge sealing and defect triage
- • Full-vehicle inspection against the written standard
Phase 3 · Specialty Films & Coatings
Day 9 — Coloured and Specialty Films
Wednesday, November 11- • Coloured, satin and textured films — how they handle differently
- • Why a colour change is unforgiving of a seam a clear film hides
- • Coverage planning for a colour change vs. protection
- • Hands-on: a coloured panel start to finish
Day 10 — Ceramic Coating Over Film
Thursday, November 12- • What a coating adds over PPF, and what it does not
- • Panel prep and cure conditions a coating actually needs
- • Application, levelling and catching high spots before they set
- • Aftercare instructions that keep the finish intact
Day 11 — Correction, Repair and Warranty Work
Saturday, November 14- • Diagnosing lifting, silvering, contamination and yellowing
- • Removing film without taking paint with it
- • Single-panel replacement on a finished car
- • Documenting a warranty claim so a manufacturer honours it
Phase 4 · The Business
Day 12 — Pricing, Quoting and Job Costing
Sunday, November 15- • Costing a job from film, hours and bay time rather than a guess
- • Building a price list you can defend to a customer
- • Consultation: qualifying a vehicle and setting expectations
- • Where jobs lose money, and how to see it before you quote
Day 13 — Shop Setup, Sourcing and Marketing
Monday, November 16- • Specifying an install bay: light, air, water, temperature
- • Equipment and film sourcing, and what to buy last
- • Photographing your work so it sells the next job
- • Getting found locally: listings, reviews and referral routes
Phase 5 · Certification & Launch
Day 14 — Manufacturer Certification Prep
Tuesday, November 17- • What manufacturer certification programmes assess and how
- • Practice assessment against a manufacturer standard
- • Closing the gaps that practice run exposes
- • Paperwork, portfolio and submission walkthrough
Day 15 — Final Assessment & Next Steps
Wednesday, November 18- • Independent full-panel assessment, instructor-graded
- • Troubleshooting clinic on whatever the assessment surfaced
- • Skills checklist sign-off and certificate presentation
- • One-to-one planning session: placement support or your own shop
- • Alumni network handover and how to reach us afterwards
Shop hours are Sat-Thu 9am-5pm. Teaching days run to the shop day.

Prerequisites
- Advanced Track completion OR demonstrated professional install experience
- A skills assessment on Day 1 sets your starting point for the programme
- Own install kit recommended; shop tools and film are provided throughout
